Marit Bjorgen was supposed to skip the opening distance at Worlds. She guarantees that she doesn’t regret that she raced after capturing the bronze medal in Thursday’s 10-kilometer freestyle race.
Bjorgen delivered an impressive skate race, and finished [the last part of the race] better than everyone. That was good enough for a bronze medal on the distance that she shouldn’t have raced.
